Tree of Lights 2014
/St. David’s Presbyterian Church and St. Stephen’s Anglican Church invite you to participate in The Tree of Lights Event to be held in St. Stephen's at 4:30 pm on November 30, the first Sunday in Advent. From the beginning of December to the end of the Christmas season the tree in St Stephen’s churchyard will be lit every evening at sundown.

If you wish to purchase a bulb for the tree in memory of a loved one (white bulb) or in honour of someone (blue bulb) you may do so by contacting Joanne Sutton (705-645-9363) sutton.mj@bell.net or Jennifer Milne (705-646-0248) mondayschild47@bell.net or Patti Thompson (705-645-0037) psthmpsn@muskoka.com. Bulbs are $5.00 each. All money collected will be donated to Interval House (a Bracebridge shelter for women and children) and Out of the Cold (a local co-operative program to feed those in need). The names of those you have chosen to remember will be recognized at the Christmas Eve services in St Stephen’s Vankoughnet Road (4 pm) and St David’s 1172 Old Victoria Rd. (7:30 pm).
During the Christmas Season the Tree of Lights has become a tradition in our community and a symbol of hope, compassion and love.
