About Wood Lake
In the south east corner of beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, near the small town of Vankoughnet, you'll find picturesque Wood Lake. An important logging area in the 1800's, Wood Lake has now become a sought-after destination for both cottagers and full time residents.
Wood Lake is a perfect place to enjoy the fun activities of summer, like canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing and tubing, or just sitting around a campfire with friends and family. Fall brings spectacular colours perfect for long walks. In winter, Wood Lake transforms into a snowy wonderland and the snowmobiles, snowshoes and skis come out. But regardless of the season, Wood Lake is always a great place to relax and enjoy life.
