The 2015 Rock Bass Tournament has more prizes than ever!

The boy’s prize for the most Rock Bass caught will be: a fish finder.  This one works right off the dock; throw it off the dock and see what lunkers lie below!

The girl’s prize for the most Rock Bass caught will be the superhot, trendy, hipster gift of the year:  an Instax camera.  Take a picture of your fish and friends and print it instantly on the spot!

This year, as an added bonus, we will also be awarding fun prizes EVERY week from a random draw.  Everyone who brings in fish will receive one raffle ticket.  Each week, we will draw a winning ticket from that week’s angler.

Finally, there will also be a giant trophy for the largest Rock Bass caught. 

The weigh-ins will once again be hosted by Don Ramsey.  The Milne/Ramsey cottage is located at 1168 Fox Point Road, just two cottages down the north shore from Ernie Elliott’s. So here is how it works:  All anglers under the age of 16 are eligible.  The derby will start on Saturday, June 27 and run until the Sunday before the Labour Day long weekend.  The weigh-ins will be at the Milne/Ramsey cottage every Sunday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. starting on June 28th.  The final weigh-in will be on Sunday, August 30th.  Many contestants freeze the fish that they catch during the week.  If you are trying for the ‘Biggest Rock Bass’ trophy, you need to present it separately.  Participants are responsible for disposing of their fish (Red Eye make for great fertilizer!)  Winners will be announced on the Labour Day weekend and the prizes can be picked up from the Ramseys on Sunday, September 6th, 2015.
